This product is called “Tororo-KOMBU with Seaweed root”
Our Tororo-KOMBU is made of thinly shaved KOMBU Seaweed, therefore it has a soft texture. It also contains root (the root of the KOMBU Seaweed).
When added to soup, it changes to a rich, thick consistency that fills the mouth with the delicious umami flavor of KOMBU Seaweed.
In Japan, it is often added to udon noodles and miso soup.
Additionally, it goes well with rice, so it is also used to wrap rice balls or as a topping in rice bowls.
