Niijya dried shiitake DONKO mushrooms are from Oita or Kumamoto in Kyushu, Japan.
They are premium dried shiitake slowly grown on tree logs and it takes approximately 2 years until harvest. Donko shiitake is very thick and chewy mushroom with beautifully cracked umbrella-shaped cap picked before the cap is completely open. Handpicked very carefully.
