Produced in our own facility in Makurazaki City, Japan’s leading region for bonito flake production, each batch is crafted with exceptional attention to quality. The bonito is smoked over ten days in a traditional three-story kiln, resulting in a deep, concentrated umami flavor.
With its distinctive smokiness and gentle acidity unique to arabushi, it is especially well suited for dashi used in miso soup, simmered dishes, and more.
