Description

Unbleached kanpyo is made by peeling yugao nuts grown in Tochigi prefecture into strings and drying them in the mid-summer heat of the sun. It is not treated with sulfur fumigation, so it is soft and has a special aroma and flavor of kanpyo, and is rich in dietary fiber, iron and calcium.

How to eat
1. rinse lightly with water. (No need to salt) 2.
Put 1 kanpyo and plenty of water in a pot and heat.

It can be easily used in any season for simmered kanpyo with sweet and spicy sauce, simmered kanpyo with egg, miso soup, simmered dishes, dressed with sesame paste, salads, one-pot dishes, and more.
 You can freeze the rehydrated kanpyo for easy use at any time.
