A versatile blend of shaved dried fish flakes that brings together the distinct umami of three different varieties—perfect for everything from making dashi to using as a flavorful topping. This blend combines flakes of mackerel, sardine, and round scad, creating a well-balanced profile of richness and aroma. When simmered, it yields a deeply satisfying, full-bodied dashi.
In addition to serving as a base for miso soup, simmered dishes, and noodle broths, it also makes an excellent topping for dishes such as okonomiyaki and ohitashi.
