Since its launch in 1967 (Showa 42), our shaved ice syrup has been a beloved product for nearly half a century, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017. Over the years, aside from minor refinements, its core design has remained largely unchanged. As a result, the “Imuraya Kōrimitsu” (shaved ice syrup) brand—along with its distinctive packaging—has become a familiar and trusted staple, cherished by customers for generations.

Following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, shaved ice experienced a resurgence in popularity. Since then, it has evolved into a recognized dessert category, sparking a renewed boom every summer.
