This Uji Matcha with tea strainer is from Chikiriya, which was founded in 1854 in Kyoto City, where it began selling its famous Yamashiro-Uji tea in Sanjo-dori Muromachi Nishi-iru.

Uji matcha is ground carefully and slowly over a long period of time using a traditional millstone. You can enjoy matcha by simply shaking it, or mix it with sugar, milk, dough, or salt.
